Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her role for her role as the star of Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Television series Cosita linda and Voltea pa' which she is enamoured. Also, she is a skilled model and dancer. As a Montreal born native, she grew up in Texas and has always been attracted to dance and performing. Her training began in the age of three in many various forms. As a 15-year-old the beauty pageants she participated in. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous when in 2008, she appeared as a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter earned her recognition at the Teen Choice Awards in both 2018 and 2017 for the the best actress on TV in Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
