Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She appears primarily as a character in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress as the actress Savitri on her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). Additionally, she was awarded a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She started her acting career in the mid 2000s. She portrayed her first lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and signed up to participate in a variety of Tamil film projects simultaneously. While the film did not do well in the theaters, her debut film came from A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) where she played alongside Vikramprabhu. A busy schedule during 2015 meant that she had to opt out of films that she was already developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to take on bigger projects. The result was that she was involved in two projects together with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the main character in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. In 2015, the film was delayed, and reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to debut in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), featuring Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and with actor Vijay. Keerthy has also appeared as a Tamil actress in Paambhu Sattai and as a Telugu actor in Nenu Local.
